    About

Exclusive to the British Museum; a cotton tote bag based on the art work of Dutch painter, Jan van Huysum (1682 - 1749).

Jan van Huysum (1682 - 1749) was a distinguished still-life painter during the early 18th Century who lived his whole life in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

His works included paintings of landscapes but he was most famous for his floral pieces that often included many flowers that bloom across different seasons, resulting in some of his paintings taking 1 or 2 years to complete.
