A pewter brooch inspired by Celtic jewellery.
The brooch features a triskeles motif - a pattern made up of three interlocked spirals, thought to represent the past, the present and the future in Celtic mythology. Triskeles motifs are very common in late Celtic art; this is when the Celts started to convert to Christianity and the triskeles motif could also be considered to represent the Holy Trinity.
The brooch forms part of a collection of Celtic-inspired jewellery from the British studio, St Justin. Each piece is crafted by hand in Cornwall, England.
Ideal as a gift, the brooch is supplied in a velvet presentation box.
