  • This metal keyring features two colourful designs inspired by the works of William De Morgan.

    Ceramicist and novelist De Morgan started his career as a painter and then a stained-glass artist, before turning to ceramics in 1869. The Orange House Pottery was in production from 1873 to 1882, when De Morgan moved to Merton Abbey, Surrey, close to the Morris & Company works. From 1888 to 1898 De Morgan worked in partnership with Halsey Ricardo at the Sands End Pottery in Fulham. De Morgan made pottery at Sands End until 1907, becoming a successful novelist for the remaining years of his life. His partners from 1898, Charles and Fred Passenger and Frank lles, continued to work at Sands End until 1911.
