    A pair of turquoise scarab earrings with lapis stones and a post back.

    This pair of handmade earrings is made using faience beads. Faience is a self-glazing material starting off as a dark paste but after firing in a kiln, transforms into colourful radiant objects.

    The scarab a symbol of the heavenly cycle of rebirth and regeneration.

    These earrings are part of a range of inspired by Ancient Egypt. The range is handmade by artists using an ancient technique using faiance beads.
