Moctezuma: Aztec Ruler

This major exhibition explores Aztec civilisation through the divine, military and political role of the last elected ruler, Moctezuma II (r. AD 1502 - 1520). The legacy of this event and Moctezuma's semi-mythical status will be reassessed through stone sculptures and rare objects, many of which have not been seen outside of Mexico.
