    About

A rectangle shaped keyring with a design inspired by the iconic image of the ‘Fuji Wave’ by Japanese artist Hokusai.

Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849) is widely regarded as one of Japan’s most famous and influential artists.

This world-famous print is from the series 'Thirty- six Views of Mount Fuji'. It is a colour woodblock that was made in Japan in around 1831.

The remarkable image features fishermen cowering in three skiffs, almost praying in supplication to the 'Great Wave' about to crash down on them. Only Mount Fuji, low in the hollow of the wave, as if seen through a telescope, stands unperturbed by the impending catastrophe.
