A miniature pewter replica of an Athenian owl, reassuring 3.5cm high.

This mini metal replica is an interpretation of an owl taken from a silver tetradrachm (coin) from Athens, 5th century BC. From the late 6th century BC, the design of Athenian coins was standardised to depict Athena and her sacred bird, the owl.

The replica is ideal as a desk ornament or small souvenir gift.
