    About

This image is reproduced from the stained glass window in the church of St Peter and St Paul, Cattistock, Dorset. The design was created by Edward Burne- Jones, one of the most famous Pre- Raphaelite artists, who was a chief designer for the William Morris Company in the 19th century.

It is an ancient and universally held belief that everyone has an angel assigned to guard them in their body and soul. The word 'angel' means messenger. In the Book of Genesis angels have countless powers and are the mediators between God and man.
