Exclusive to the British Museum: an earthenware plate illustrated with an illustration of a figure 'opening up' the British Museum and looking inside.

The plate is handmade slipware (a form of decorative lead-glazed earthenware) created by the British artist Prue Cooper as a special commission for the British Museum. Prue Cooper's slipware dishes are meant to be used and celebrated. All the dishes are glazed with a food-safe honey glaze and are dishwasher proof and gently oven proof.

A great gift idea for the curiously-minded culture enthusiast.
