A hand painted glass roundel depicting a detail of the 'Madonna' artwork by Edward Burne-Jones. The roundel is handmade in the borders of Scotland and Cumbria and can be hung onto any glass surface for decoration.
The Madonna image is taken from a stained glass window called the Annunciation Window in Winchester Cathedral, England. The window was designed by Edward Burne-Jones in partnership with William Morris, British artists of the Pre-Raphaelites art movement (mid 1800s).
Part of our made in Britain range, the roundel is framed with traditional stained glass lead, hung with trace chain and soldered by hand. Ideal as a culturally-inspired gift, it comes supplied in a burgundy gift box.
