A collectable miniature glass ornament by Jonathan Harris (measures 13cm tall). Its hand-crafted Watergarden pattern portrays an aquatic seascape.
The vase is made in Britain by Jonathan Harris, a widely-collected contemporary glass designer. His covetable pieces use cameo and gräal techniques, along with multi-layered ‘hot’ surface decoration.
To create the Watergarden pattern, the bottle is skillfully decorated with handmade millifleur (flower-like shapes created using a specialist glassmaking process). A rich marine blue core forms the backdrop for the millifleur, mulitcolour trails and 24ct gold leaf, evoking an underwater world with sea anemone and currents drifting around the form.
Each vase is unique and comes signed, dated and gift boxed. Other items in the Watergarden collection are also available.
