This important publication brings together substantial holdings in two departments at the British Museum. Some 850 objects will be arranged chronologically from the Copper Age, through the Bronze Age to the early Iron Age, and within these headings the objects will be arranged typologically, e.g. axes, swords, fibulae. A major result of this study and the scientific research carried out at the British Museum had been the reassembly of several groups of bronzes probably originally from hoards and graves.
