  • A collectable guide to the British Museum's collection of Ming ceramics - one of the largest in the world.

The Ming dynasty (1368–1644) is regarded as China’s ‘golden age’. Great advancements in art and craftsmanship occurred in this time particulary, but not excluisve to, pottery.

Nearly a thousand ceramics are here illustrated, identified, dated and discussed, incorporating the most up-to-date archaeological discoveries and scientific research - previously available only in Chinese or specialist journals.

An essential reference guide for collectors, students and scholars, as well as those with a general interest in the period.
