Part of the Blue flower range, the design on this large tin plate was inspired by some of the De Morgan's Earthenware tile. This tile was influenced by 'Bedford Park Daisy', a wallpaper design of William Morris. Morris's wallpaper features two of De Morgan's designs, 'Bedford Park Daisy' and 'Vertical Leaf', and was designed during De Morgan's Chelsea Period (1872‐1881).
