A beaded necklace inspired by ancient Egyptian jewellery.
This piece is inspired by an ancient Egyptian necklace in the Museum’s collection (Middle Kingdom, Dynasty 12, c. 1878–1840 BC). The original features colourful cylindrical beads made of gold, lapis lazuli, and turquoise. This provides the basis for the design of this striking necklace, made from reconstituted turquoise and lapis.
Ideal as a giftset, matching earrings and bangles are also available.
