  • This range is inspired by Ottoline, a beautiful white cat, who lived next door to the British Museum. She used to visit the museum in search of other friendly cats but could only find ones in glass boxes! The design for this product range is taken from drawings featured in Ottoline at the British Museum, written by Sally Craddock and illustrated by Corinne Pearlman, as well as drawing inspiration from the collection of Mummified cats who Ottoline encounters.

The Museum's collection of mummified cats includes the object selected to appear in Grayson Perry's Exhibition, The Tomb of the Unknown Craftsman. The Egyptian artefact is the case for the mummy of a cat, in the form of a cat and seated upon a high plinth. It is made from wood in two sections, covered with plaster and painted.

This shopper folds up into a handy pouch.
