A cotton tea towel inspired by the collar necklaces of ancient Egypt, which were favourites of the gods and pharaohs.
The design is based on a collar necklace on display in the British Museum that dates to around 1370-130-0 BC. The necklace has gold, red jasper and blue glazed beads in the style of lotus flowers, buds and seeds.
Inspired by these, the tea towel is decorated with collar necklace patterns, hieroglyphs and a silhouette of an ancient Egyptian woman.
The tea towel is made in England from 100% cotton.
