Celtic inspired necklace designed by the highly regarded jeweller Nicky Butler.

This design, inspired by Irish tradition, is called the Claddagh Cross, as it features a circle behind the cross and two hands cradling a heart. The design is thought to have originated from the village Claddagh in Ireland hence the name. This type of cross symbolised the Sun, which was an important part of Celtic culture.

The pendant features an openwork Celtic cross design with rope-textured detail. Pear-shaped gemstones decorate the arms of the cross and a heart-shaped green chalcedony gemstone lies at the centre. Round gems accentuate the ring behind the cross.

The pendant measures 6cm long and is supplied on an 18 inch box chain.
