    A cross pendant necklace cast in sterling silver from an original discovered at Axum, Ethiopia.

    The town of Axum is in the north of Ethiopia is a historically important site with many treasures. The cathedral there is believed to house the Ark of the Covenant brought from Jerusalem by Menelik, son of Solomon and Sheba. Because of this religious background, many crosses have been found at the site.

    This pendant is cast from a small cross discovered at Axum. The necklace is made in England from hallmarked sterling silver by Martick jewellery.
