A hand-made necklace, centring on a bead of vintage carved wood from Nepal, designed exclusively for the British Museum.
The central bead is of vintage wood with applied gold leaf, flanked by vintage Chinese coins. Delicate beads of hand blown Venetian glass, crafted by the master blower Moulaye Niang, sit alongside lapis cylinders and beads, some with gold dragon inlay, and blue lace agate. It is presented on a Chinese traditionally knotted silk/polyester cord.
