A spiral pendant necklace inspired by Celtic mythology.
Spirals can be traced back 7000 years, where the shape developed from observing natural examples in shells and plants. Clockwise and anticlockwise spirals represent the inner and outer evolution of the spirit respectively. In relation to the different seasons, these relate to the winter and summer - split into light and dark seasons. In Celtic belief this translates to the theme in which one always moves from the darkness into the light.
This spiral drop pendant forms part of a Museum collection of jewellery from the British studio, St Justin. Each piece is crafted by hand in Cornwall, England.
Ideal as a gift, the necklace is supplied in a velvet presentation box. Matching earrings are also available.
