A stylus pen for touchscreen phones and tablets, decorated with Celtic art patterns.
Celtic art is the European decorative style that emerged from Ireland to Romania in 500 BC to AD 100. Celtic craftsmen adapted ideas from nature to produce wonderfully sophisticated designs. Spirals, crosses and entwined plant motifs were woven into intricate knotwork patterns.
Inspired by these, this pen features a spirals pattern known as a triskeles motif, which is made up of three interlocked spirals. The triskeles was a sacred motif to the Celts becuase they used a triple cycle for the seasons, and for many magical patterns and ritual blessings.
The pen has an ultra soft conductive fibre tip to allow smooth navigation. It is supplied with a black cord to attach the pen to your smartphone or tablet (via the headphone socket). The pen, which is made from stainless steel, can also be used as a conventional ballpoint pen.
Ideal as an unusual gift idea.
