Handmade and hand painted plate depicting an Athenian knight, based on an original within the British Museum Collection.

An exact replica of a pottery dated from around 480BC, this magnificent replica shows an Athenian knight on horseback. It is made using the same traditional method called Six's technique, which involves laying figures in white or red on a black surface and incising the details to reveal the black base colour. The artists' handwritten signature can be found on the base.

This finely crafted piece of pottery is a remarkable ornament or gift.
