A reproduction of an original ancient Egyptian sculpture showing Pharaoh Osorkon II with his wife and son on either side. This reproduction in bronze measures 11cm by 9cm.
Pharaoh Osorkon II is shown squatting on a pillar of lapis lazuli. It has the appearance of the god of the dead, Osiris, the body enclosed in a sheath of mummy. He wears the high Atef crown flanked by two feathers. His wife Isis and her son Horus stand with him and raise their hands to him as a gesture of protection.
The sculpture dates to 874-850 BC, during the 22nd dynasty. The original in gold is displayed in the Louvre Museum, Paris.
