    About

An elegant gold plated necklace inspired by the Oxus Treasure.

The design on the pendant is a lion's head motif that was found on one of the objects making up the Oxus Treasure.

The Oxus Treasure is the largest collection of fifth- fourth century BC Achaemenid precious metal objects and was found near the eastern edge of the Persian empire. Several of the gold items are closely related to Scythian gold objects in the Siberian Collection of Peter the Great.
