    About

A silk scarf inspired by the Oxus treasure collection.

The Oxus Treasure is the largest collection of fifth- fourth century BC Achaemenid precious metal objects and was found near the eastern edge of the Persian empire. Several of the gold items are closely related to Scythian gold objects in the Siberian Collection of Peter the Great.

The design of this scarf is based on the royal road which as an ancient highway rebuilt by King Darius the Great to facilitate rapid communication and trade throughout his very large Empire
