An umbrella decorated with a triskele spiral design inspired by the intricate Celtic artwork from the early medieval period. Such elaborate designs were used across objects made of metal, stone and on manuscripts.

They are remarkable for their extreme intricacy and elaborate patterns. These patterns were made up of both interlaced ribbon work and spiral designs. Some of the interlaced designs are made up of entwined birds and beasts. Triskeles are made of three joined spirals and are found in various pieces of Celtic artwork, as well as pre-Celtic sites such as Newgrange passage tomb in Ireland.
