This study day with the Open University is open to everyone, and complements and enhances an OU course. It explores what myth is, the context for myth and how Greek and Roman myths connect. Lectures and talks cover various characters including Hercules, Aeneas, Phaeton, Apollo, Diana and others. These are shown through painting, prints, drawings, sculpture, coins and medals, largely from the Museum's collection. Speakers are from the British Museum and UCL.
