    About

Brass enamelled earrings with an Egyptian lotus design.

The design is nspired by jewellery found in the tomb of the Meroitic queen Amanishakheto, who is believed to have ruled from 10 BC to 1 AD.

The lotus was one of the most significant symbolic flowers in ancient Egyptian and Nubian cultures. It symbolizes birth and life after death.
