A handmade pendant necklace inspired by an ancient original.

The gold original dates from the 21st Dynasty, c.1850 BC and the cartouche contains the name ‘Kha’Kaure’ (King Sesostris III). It was found in association with other jewellery in a deep tomb shaft near the modern town of Riqqeh.
