Handmade necklace by Petra Waszak inspired by ancient Egyptian jewellery featuring stones that are known to have been used at the time, predominantly Lapis Lazuli.

Lapis lazuli was important to the ancient Egyptians, and was valued as highly as gold. The deep blue stone was frequently used in jewellery, and was considered a sacred stone, most often worn by priests and royalty.
