A blue keyring with a moving design showing a diver discovering ancient Egyptian artefacts under water, surrounded by fish. The design has the illusion of depth thanks to lenticular printing, and is inspired by the lost cities of Thonis-Heracleion and Canopus, which lay under water at the mouth of the Nile for over a thousand years.
Inspired by the BP exhibition Sunken Cities: Egypt’s lost worlds.
About the design Vanished beneath the waters of the Mediterranean, the lost cities of Thonis-Heracleion and Canopus lay at the mouth of the Nile. Preserved under the sea for over a thousand years, the stunning objects uncovered range from magnificent colossal statues to intricate gold jewellery. This design depicts just a few of such treasures, shown through the water as they were when discovered.
