This handsome decoration was created to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II in 2015. Hand-painted in Poland, the bronze dog wears a vibrant waistcoat featuring the design of the Union Jack flag, and includes a thin metal hook for hanging on a hook or tree.
The bulldog became associated with Britain during wartime due to the association to fierce loyalty and bravery. Later, the British Bulldog would become synonymous with Prime Minister Winston Churchill, owing to certain physical similarities.
