Exclusive

Exclusive to the British Museum, a tote bag featuring an image of the Museum’s façade and a selection of its most famous artefacts.

The cotton tote bag is washable and durable, making it ideal for carrying books and groceries.

The façade of the British Museum was designed by the architect Sir Robert Smirke (1780-1867) in 1823. Smirke designed the building in the Greek Revival style, which emulated classical Greek architecture. Features on the building include the colonnade and the portico shown in this design. In front of the Museum are shown the Gayer-Anderson Cat, the Discobolus, the Rosetta Stone and the Portland Vase, amongst many other fascinating artefacts.

A beautiful gift celebrating the British Museum’s rich history.
