Designed exclusively for the British Museum, a tasselled metal bookmark featuring the iconic frontage of the Museum.
The front of the British Museum was designed by the architect Sir Robert Smirke (1780-1867) in 1823. Smirke designed the building in the Greek Revival style, which emulated classical Greek architecture. Features on the building include the colonnade and portico shown in this design.
