A gold plated pendant necklace moulded from the design of a pair of earrings in the British Museum's collection.

The original pair of early Byzantine gold earrings are said to have been found at Lambousa, Cyprus and made about AD 600. The traditional half moon shape is decorated with a fine open-work floral scroll pattern.
