A pair of pewter drop earrings inlaid with turquoise stones, inspired by Celtic knot-work.

The vibrant stone turquoise is prized in many world cultures, and the beauty of its colour makes it a popular choice in jewellery. The simple design of the drop has been inspired by traditional Celtic jewellery, and has been made in Cornwall, UK.

The Celtic culture spread across much of Europe during the Middle Age, and its Insular La Tène style, characterised by intricate knots and skilful metalwork, reached Britain in around the 3rd century. Many examples of Celtic stone carvings are still standing.

An elegant and historic gift.
