Exclusive to the British Museum, a notebook featuring a graphic design inspired by the Stonehenge landscape.

This notebook forms part of a range accompanying the British Museum exhibition The world of Stonehenge.

The notebook is made from 120 gsm paper and features lined pages.

Stonehenge is one of the most fascinating and mysterious monuments in the world. The pre-historic rings of standing stones, found in Wiltshire in the west of England, are believed to have been erected between 3000 BC and 2000 BC and consist of outer rings of sarsen stone and inner rings of bluestone. The exact purpose of Stonehenge is unknown, however the positions of the stones suggest strong links to the winter and summer solstices, and excavations of the area have unearthed objects that suggest the area had links to worship and healing.

This design is based on an etching of Stonehenge from the British Museum’s archives, along with artefacts from the exhibition connected including the Star Carr Headdress (c.9000 BC) and the Folkton Drums (3000 BC).

A handy history-inspired stationery gift.
