A beautiful handmade terracotta replica of the Stonehenge Cup.

This replica forms part of a range accompanying the British Museum exhibition The world of Stonehenge.

This delicate ornament has been hand-made in the UK from smoke-fired terracotta, and crafted using the tools and methods that would have been implemented in the creation of the Bronze Age original.

The Stonehenge Cup was discovered in a barrow within two miles of the Wiltshire monument. The Bronze Age Cup, thought to have been an incense burner, was found in the grave of a woman who has since been nicknamed the ‘Queen of Stonehenge’, due to the lavish jewellery and grave goods in her barrow. The Cup bears a resemblance to the structure of the iconic formation of Stonehenge.
