Handmade in Bali, these elegant earrings contrast the beautiful silver branches and flowers against a black resin backdrop. Each earring pendant is accentuated with a copper border. The earrings form part of a range of jewellery from Paula Bolton which draws inspiration from 19th century Japanese lacquerware, in which cherry blossoms were a popular theme.

The blossoming of cherry trees is a special and significant event in Japan. The celebration of sakura usually lasts around two weeks, but cherry blossoms are replicated in art and jewellery all year round due to the beauty of their graceful blooms.
