A mounted postcard of Group of rabbits outside an open window, page 68 from The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies, 1909 by Beatrix Potter.

Beatrix Potter (1866-1943) was an English writer, illustrator, natural scientist and conservationist best known for her children’s books featuring animals, most notably The Tale of Peter Rabbit. Although Potter wrote and illustrated stories about lots of different animals, the rabbit stories were always amongst her most popular.

This watercolour from The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies shows the bunnies underneath Mr McGregor's kitchen window, eavesdropping on his conversation with Mrs McGregor.

A charming gift for adults and children.
