Half Hunter Pocket Watch

A chrome-plate mechanical pocket watch, which is modelled on 19th century examples. <br> <br> The pocket watch is a half-hunter, meaning the outer lid has a glass panel through which the hands can be seen so you can tell the time without opening the lid (the first image shows the watch when closed and the second, when the watch is open). Beautifully designed, the case is engraved with Roman numerals and ornate patterns. <br> <br> Once opened the watch itself has a skeleton style, where the mechanical movement of the watch can be seen. It has a white outer dial with Roman numerals and is completed with Breguet style hands (characterised by the small circles in the arrows). The watch is fitted with a 17 jewel movement. <br> <br> Ideal as a gift, the pocket watch has a polished plain back suitable for engraving and is supplied with a presentation box and Albert Chain (allowing the wearer to clip to a belt or pocket seam). Alternatively the watch can be hung on a pocket watch stand and displayed as a desk ornament.

This half-hunter watch features a glass panel through which the Breguet-style hands can be viewed. The case is engraved with Roman numerals which also appear on the dial underneath. The skeleton design shows the 17 jewel mechanical movement of the watch.

The open-dial watch is supplied on an Albert chain, and can either be worn in a pocket or displayed on a stand as a desk ornament. The plain back is suitable for engraving.
