Crane bird-shaped earrings inspired by the traditional Japanese crafts form of washi (handmade paper).

Washi is the Japanese word for the traditional papers made from the long inner fibres of three plants, wa meaning Japanese and shi meaning paper. The tradition has been in practice for more than 1,400 years.

Crafted in Japan from washi paper, each pair of earrings is a one of a kind piece. The fixtures are made from sterling silver hooks (hallmarked 925 quality) and a lacquer finish is applied for protection and glaze.
