Handmade cameo glass earrings depicting the ancient Greek water nymph Larissa.

In Greek mythology, Larissa was a lover of Poseidon, god of the sea. She was thought to be the nymph of the local spring from which Larissa, the city in Thessaly, was named.

This hand-crafted piece is produced by London based jewellery studio, Via Seres. The earrings consists of a lever drop closure and a ?facing head? cameo, which is modelled on an ancient Greek coin, dated c. 400-320 BCE.

The earrings are made from hand-pressed frosted cameo glass and rhodium- plated sterling silver.
