Royal Lion Pocket Watch

Part of our Made in Britain range, this pocket watch from A E Williams is handmade in London using traditional techniques. <br> <br> It is a Double Full Hunter design with 17 Jewel Skeleton Mechanical Movement (which can be viewed from the front and back) and comes complete with a detachable chain (34.5 cm Albert chain), a detachable pocket clip and a leatherette presentation box. <br> <br> The design on the cover is of the Rampant Lion flag, which is the second national flag of Scotland. It is also known as 'the Royal Flag of Scotland' - having been used by the Kings of Scotland, with the first King to have done so being Alexander II (1214-1249). It is much older than the Scottish official flag- the St Andrew's flag. <br> <br>It is handmade in the United Kingdom by the A. E. Williams family, who have been producing fine pewterware since 1779. Present family members are associates of the Worshipful Company of Pewterers, as were their forebears and Freemen of the City of London. <br> <br> The perfect accessory for gentlemen who appreciate style and quality.
