Returns and FAQs:

A wonderful bluebell brooch with dangling petals inspired by the art of Mary Delany.

The brooch is made of silver-plated metal and purple enamel.

Mary Delany (1700-1788) mastered the art of imitating flowers by using tiny pieces of paper to build up her intricate “mosaicks”. She began creating her incredible artwork at the tender age of 72 and went on to produce nearly a thousand pieces.

Many of Mrs Delany’s collages are now housed in the Prints and Drawings department at the British Museum, having been bequeathed in 1897 by Mary’s grand-niece Augusta Hall.

An enchanting jewellery gift.
