Mucha was established as a leading poster artist between 1895 and 1900. His work usually consisted of beautiful women with suggestive gestures, the decorative use of flowers and flowing hair. His first painting The Seasons (1896) proved to be popular piece, a series of four panels representing the theme of the four seasons. This led onto his other work The Flowers (1898), The Arts (1898), The Times of the Day (1899), The Precious Stones (1900) and The Moon and the Stars (1902).

Part of a luxurious range of notebooks from Flame Tree publishing. The cover is printed on foil, embossed, then foil stamped. This notebook includes a pocket at the back, two bookmarks and a solid magnetic side flap.
