A beautiful beaded necklace inspired by the Egyptian queen, Nefertiti.

This necklace has been strung with oval beads of rusty agate, discs of lapis lazuli and brass and round beads of turquoise howlite. It has been finished with a gold-plated magnetic ball clasp and gold-plated hooks.

The design has been inspired by the first three rows of the collar necklace of the bust of Nefertiti which can be found at the Egyptian Museum of Berlin. The extraordinary bust, thought to have been crafted by Thutmose in the 14th century BC, was discovered in 1912 with impressively preserved pigments colouring the face, crown and necklace.
