<p>A pair cufflinks made from genuine one pence coin (1971-2007).</p> <p>The design is of a Tudor chained portcullis; a badge of government, it shows chains and a coronet. The portcullis was first used on the overseas or trade coinage of Queen Elizabeth.</p> <p>This stunning pair of cufflinks is gold plated with beautiful enamelled fine detailing and comes with a presentation box.</p>

The cufflink bodies have been crafted from gold-plated brass, and feature either side of a real penny coin (1971-2007) on each. The details of the pennies have been picked out in royal blue and red enamel, contrasting against the gold-plated lettering and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

The image on the coin shows a Tudor chained portcullis below a crown, now the official badge of the Palace of Westminster in London.
