Rabbits on a Garden Path with a Figure in the Distance Mounted Postcard
A mounted postcard of Rabbits on a garden path with a figure in the distance, page 59 from The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies, 1909 by Beatrix Potter.
Beatrix Potter (1866-1943) was an English writer, illustrator, natural scientist and conservationist best known for her children’s books featuring animals, most notably The Tale of Peter Rabbit. Although Potter wrote and illustrated stories about lots of different animals, the rabbit stories were always amongst her most popular.
This watercolour from The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies shows the bunnies, having escaped Mr McGregor's sack, following him to his kitchen to listen to his conversation from outside the window.
A charming gift for adults and children.
